Louis was busy this morning. He went to the sandbox, he was digging and filling his bucket. Before lunch he enjoyed singing songs. He made a nice tower out of legos.

Louis came late this morning, he had fun making finger painting on the large paper outside on the floor. Also he scribbled with chalk all over the cement.
Louis was busy this morning. He went outside, he put foam shapes on sticky paper, then we put a big box and inside it balls, he enjoyed going inside the box, playing with it. Before lunch he caught bubbles around the yard.
Louis is starting to listen to his teachers and also he is using his words. Today his friend took toys from Louis, he screamed and I told him “Louis, use your words”. Then he told his friend “mine, mine”. He is such a sweet boy and he is smart too.
Louis had a great time painting a nice picture, he used pink colors. Then he went outside, he was excited playing around the new yard. Before lunch read many stories for them.
Louis was happy this morning. He was happy and dancing this boy. He went outside playing up and down on the new slide. Before lunch he enjoyed singing with his friends.
Louis forgot all the rules such as "push the chair", "wash hands"... We tried with him again.
He played with tennis balls, he put them inside the tube and he started counting "1, 2, 3". He is so smart.
Also he played in the new yard.

Rachel's reflections
I want to [... share] a scene I saw on a recent morning. Huriye, one of our infant teachers, was walking to the kitchen through the infant toddler playground. Louis, one of her former children who has graduated to the Honeybees room ran up to her and raised his arms. Huriye scooped him up and said, "Hello Louis!" Louis put his arms tight around her neck and snuggled his head in, hugging her tightly. "Oh Louis," she said smiling. "You love me!" She returned his hug and said "I love you too." They cuddled for a minute and then Huriye put Louis down. He ran off to play and she continued to the kitchen where I was standing watching their interaction. When Huriye came into the room, I said "Louis really loves you, doesn't he?" Huriye had this wonderful smile on her face as she agreed with me and talked for a minute about what a sweet boy he is and how much she loves him.

Louis is another busy guy in our room who likes to explore all the play areas and goes from one thing to another. He is also forming his relationship with his teachers beautifully. He knows when he needs a break from playing with his friends and he will look for lap time with his teachers to recover his energy. Teachers also enjoy the closeness and love we get from him.
